Skagerrak Nordic Dry Gin - 50CL
The Skagerrak sea is surrounded by Denmark, Norway and Sweden, so Norway’s Anora group asked two top bartenders from each nation to come together and create a dry gin par excellence. Often, too many cooks spoil the broth but not this time. After months of wrangling they came up with this Scandi smasher, a brainchild of Nordic cooperation. The ruggedly beautiful coastline of the Skagerrak hosts the pristine botanicals that make up this unmissable expression.
Crafted using geothermal energy, the three dots on the bottle symbolise the lights of the lighthouses guarding the strait: Hanstholm, Lindesnes, and Pater Noster.
Skagerrak Nordic Dry Gin is a maritime-inspired Scandinavian spirit featuring key tasting notes of green juniper, cucumber, dulse seaweed, rosehip, and elderflower. Bottled at 50 cl with an ABV of 44.9%, it delivers a crisp, balanced profile.

• Palate: Forward notes of green herbs and wild seaweed balanced by peppery heart hints of kelp, nutmeg, and cinnamon bark.
• Finish: A clean and slender finish where elderflower and rosehips leave a subtle, lingering sweetness.
Serving and Cocktail Suggestions
• Nordic Gin and Tonic: Mix with premium tonic water and garnish with a pinch of sea salt and a stick of celery for a coastal twist.
• Nordic Dry Martini: Stir with a dry vermouth and ice, strained into an elegant glass to highlight the pure botanical structure.
• Nordic Fall: Shake with fresh apple juice, a splash of soda water, and a sprig of lemon thyme.
Food Pairings
• Pair with fresh seafood such as smoked salmon, pan-seared sea bass, or dulse-crusted white fish to echo the maritime botanicals.
• Complements light salads dressed with citrus or soft goat's cheese that contrast with the peppery herbal core of the gin.
Distilling Methods
Drawing on over a century of regional distilling mastery, production relies on modern, eco-conscious methods utilizing geothermal energy alongside sustainable practices like incorporating surplus local potatoes. Botanicals including caraway-tipping a hat to traditional aquavit-are carefully steeped and distilled to capture a clean, refreshing profile without heavy oiliness.
