Carlshamns Flaggpunsch traces its origins to 1733 East India trade routes first imported arrack from Batavia (Indonesia) into Sweden. The port of Carlshamn was a 19th century hub for this spice trade and for spirit refinement.  This distinctive Flaggpunsch was formalized using a 19th-century recipe, famously registered in 1883.  Nowadays Carlshamn Flaggpunsch is owned by Pernod Ricard who know a good drink when they see one.

Carlshamns Flaggpunsch is a traditional Swedish-style liqueur featuring 26% ABV and a 50CL bottle size, defined by distinct aniseed sweetness, rich arrack character, and classic Nordic heritage.
