Alpe Genepy 38 Herbetet (38% ABV) is an Italian Alpine liqueur with intense, earthy aromas of mint, clove, and lemon peel, leading to a rooty, herbaceous palate dominated by wormwood (Artemisia), marjoram, and sandalwood 

Tasting Notes for Alpe Genepy Herbetet:

Colour: Natural light olive to pale gold 

Aroma: Fresh, intense herbal notes, earthy, featuring mint, clove, and lemon peel 

Palate: Rich, complex, and herbaceous, with strong wormwood/genepy, sandalwood, and marjoram 

Finish: Warming, smooth, and slightly dry, featuring lingering pine and cinnamon

Origin: Produced in Hone, Valle d'Aosta, Italy 

Botanicals: Primarily Artemisia genipi and Artemisia mutellina, with minor additions of oregano, lemon balm, and mint 

Best Served: As a digestif (neat) or in cocktails for a grassy, alpine note 

Alpe uses traditional methods to capture the authentic flavour of the high-altitude Alps, making it less sweet than many other digestifs
