Amaro Lys

Amaro Alpe Lys (30% ABV) is a delicate, alpine-inspired Italian digestivo from Val d'Aosta with a balanced, bittersweet profile 

It features strong notes of mountain flowers, gentian, and herbs, often described as having a tea-like quality or a slightly sweet, floral, and piney flavour, making it less intense than the standard Amaro Alpe. 

Nose: Elegant, precise, and highly aromatic, featuring mountain herbs and flowers 

Palate: Gentle, with an explosion of alpine herbs, gentian, light spice, and subtle notes of dandelion or pine 

Finish: Long, warming, and pleasant 

Texture: Delightful, light-to-medium mouthfeel 

Bitter/Sweet Balance: Moderately bitter, balanced by a subtle, pleasant sweetness 

Botanicals: Over 20 herbs, flowers, and roots, including gentian, genepy, and rhubarb root 

Method: Herbs are harvested in August, dried, and infused in alcohol, with part of the blend redistilled for clarity and complexity 

Origin: Produced in the Valle d'Aosta region of Italy 

Best served neat or on the rocks as a digestivo, but also pairs well with soda and lemon
