Description
Amaro 33 is an innovative and anti-conformist Italian herbal liqueur that effortlessly bridges traditional alpine digestifs with a modern, spirited personality. Bottled at an ideal 33% ABV, it is available in both a contemporary 50cl bottle featuring an eye-catching glow-in-the-dark label.
Distilling Methods
Celebrated for their centuries-old mastery, the estate utilizes a proprietary distillation method known as the Metodo Da Ponte. Unlike standard commercial bitters that rely on neutral grain spirits, the unique base for Amaro 33 is premium Vecchia Grappa di Prosecco, distilled from local Glera grape pomace and patiently aged in Limousin and Slavonian oak casks.
The defining profile of the liqueur is achieved through a meticulous cold infusion process. Selected Shandong ginger is slowly macerated in the aged grappa, allowing the liquid to naturally draw out delicate essential oils from the root. This fiery extract is then masterfully combined with a balanced blend of 33 botanical herbs, roots, and citrus oils to offset the heat.
