Tuve Tradizione - Our Story
Where Vermouth Began
Tuve Tradizione is rooted in Turin, the city recognised as the birthplace of vermouth in 1786. For more than two centuries, Turin has been home to master distillers, herbalists and liqueur artisans whose work shaped one of Italy’s most celebrated traditions. Tuve carries this legacy forward, remaining one of the few producers still operating within the city itself, a point of pride and a direct link to the origins of the craft.

A Tradition Preserved, A Craft Evolved
The brand draws its identity from historic family recipes and the long‑established liquor‑making culture of Piedmont. While the world around it has changed, Tuve remains committed to the principles that defined the earliest vermouths: the careful selection of herbs, the balance of aromas and flavours, and a deep respect for the land that provides them.
Passion for Piedmont
Piedmont is a region renowned for great wines and a rich liqueur‑making heritage. Tuve’s passion is inseparable from this landscape, its vineyards, its botanicals and its centuries of craftsmanship. The brand’s philosophy is built on dedication, research and the pursuit of quality, reinterpreting historic recipes to create products that feel both authentic and innovative.
Values Bottled With Care
Every bottle reflects the values that define Tuve Tradizione: respect for the land, respect for the people who craft each product, and pride in presenting Italian liqueurs that carry centuries of history. The brand sees its work not simply as production, but as the preservation of a cultural legacy, one that continues to bring moments of enjoyment to those who drink its creations. brand_values craftsmanship
Founding Members of the Vermouth Institute of Turin
Tuve is also a founding member of the Vermouth Institute of Turin, an organisation dedicated to protecting and promoting the authenticity of Turin Vermouth. This designation requires vermouth to be produced in Piedmont, using Italian wines and botanicals led by artemisia, a standard that Tuve upholds with pride.
